(27 Mar 1872 - 17 Sep 1918) As announced last
week, Mrs. J. O. Rasmussen died on Tuesday, Sept. 17, 1918, aged 46
years, 5 months and 23 days. Bertha Banderob was the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. George Banderob, both deceased, and was born at New
Holstein, Wis., on March 27, 1872. In 1882 she came to Thorp, Clark
County, Wis. with her parents and has since resided here. In 1891
she was united in marriage to Mr. Rasmussen. For a number of eyars
past she has been ill with Bright's disease and at times was a
severe sufferer from the malady. All was done by the family and
physicians to bring about relief, but of no avail. She leaves to
mourn, her husband, son Arthur G., and daughter Anna Rasmussen,
four sisters, Mrs. Wm. Sattler, Mrs. Herman Friess, Mrs. John Kuhn
and Miss Anna Banderob, and two brothers, Louis and George
Banderob. The funeral took place on Thursday last from the M. E.
Church, Rev. Laabs of Withee, officiating, interment following in
the Thorp Village Cemetery. The following served as pallbearers:
Ephraim Lindquist, R. H. Tolford, George Zillmann, Herman Stracker,
