Courier (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.) 10/24/1918 Kocherer, Ida (4
JAN 1900 - 17 OCT 1918) Miss Ida Kocherer,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. frank Kocherer, of the town of Worden,
died of pneumonia at her home on Thursday, Oct. 17, 1918, after a
brief illness. She was born in the town of Worden on Jan. 4, 1900.
She was in her happy teens the time when youth attends waiting
before the half-open door that leads into a fairer and more
promising land of dreams and flowers. As she would have entered a
messenger came up and said: "Come this way. It is best." The night
was serene and unclouded like those that came to Bethlehem in the
long, long ago. The stars still serve as reminders, and the winds
whisper her name. She leaves to mourn, her mother, three brothers,
John, Edward and Joe, and four sisters, Mrs. George Haas, Mrs. Paul
Dulek, Verona and Alvina. The funeral took
place on Saturday morning from St. Bernard's Church, Father Neises
officiating, interment following in the Catholic Cemetery. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
