Ratelney, Martin (1900? - 26 OCT 1918)
Martin Ratelney, aged eighteen years, while driving a Ford car owned by Frank Meske, near his home northeast of the village (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.) on Saturday evening last, lost control of the machine which turned over twice, pinning its victim underneath. Friends started for the hospital at Chippewa Falls with the unconscious man who died before they reached Stanley. The funeral took place from St. Hedwig's Church on Wednesday, Father Pudlo officiating.
