JUN 1874 - 24 OCT 1918) James Foley, son
of Mrs. Foley of the town of Worden, Clark County, Wis., died at
the hospital at Chippewa Falls of pneumonia on Thursday last. The
body was shipped here and the funeral took place on Saturday
morning from St. Bernard's Church, Father Neises officiating. Mr.
Foley was born at Gravesville, Calumet Co., June 21, 1874, the son
of Mr. and Mrs. Peter J. Foley. In 1886 he came to Clark County,
Wis. with his parents and grew to manhood in the town of Worden.
For several years past he had been employed in Chippewa and Taylor
Counties. He was a capable and efficient worker. There were few
branches of the lumber industry that he died not understand. Prior
to the time of his death Mr. Foley was working at the Anthony
Gaffney Camp near Gilman, where he contracted his fatal disease.
Many friends will remember him, and immediate relatives left to
mourn for a dear son and brother are: Mr. P. J. Foley, Edward J.
Foley and sisters Mrs. Anna E. Maltby of Antigo, Katherine and Rose
