NOV 1835 - 29 OCT 1918) Mrs. Martha Fear,
mother of Mrs. W. R. McCutcheon, died at her home near Augusta,
Wis., on Tuesday, Oct. 29, 1918, aged 83 years, 11 months and 22
days. She was born in Campton Martin, Sommersetshire, England, Nov.
6, 1835, and came to this country with her family when eighteen
eyars of age and was married to James Curtiss Fear at Waukesha in
1857, moving to Augusta a few eyars later, where Mr. Fear died
forty eyars ago. Deceased was a frequent visitor here for many
years. She had been ill but a short time and the end came quickly.
She leaves one son, E. J. Fear of Eau Claire, and one daughter,
Mrs. W. R. McCutcheon of this village (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.).
Dr. and Mrs. McCutcheon and Mr. and Mrs. E. F. Burns of Stanley
