Deutschlander died of influenza at the home of his father, Mr. J.
Deutschlander, on Tuesday, Dec. 3, 1918. Deceased was twenty-seven
years of age, unmarried and was ill but a few days. (Follow on in

Deutschlander died at his home north of Thorp, Clark County, Wis.
on Dec. 3, 1918, aged 27 years, 8 months and 21 days. He was born
in Shamoklin, Penn., and came to Thorp with his parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Julius Deutschlander when two years old. Here he grew to
manhood and assisted his father in farm work until his death. He
leaves to mourn, his father and mother, two sisters, Mrs. Wm. Haak
and Mrs. Charles Hensel of Ladysmith, and three brothers, John
Deutschlander of Thorp, Julius Deutschlander of Minneapolis, and
Rudolph Deutschlander of Oregon. The funeral took place from the
home on Saturday last, interment following in the Thorp Village
