       Millford, Massachuttes has the only Irish Tower in the United States.

Moses Clark moved to the territory around 1850 and became the name sake of Clark County, Wisconsin.  He built a dam and saw mill that was located about 400 feet east of the present site of the Highway 73/95 Bridge that crosses Cunningham Creek.  He constructed a saw mill on Cunningham Creek and shipped lumber to Platteville.  In mid summer, 1956, a man named Paulley/Polley had an encounter with Moses in a store (located near Frank Darling’s store in Neillsville, Wis.), and after some delay, he was taken to Platteville, where he died in July, 1956.  Albert Webster Clark then came from Platteville to run the mill for his father, who had inherited the property, and finally became the owner himself.  His grandfather and father of Moses, Theophilus Clark, resided with him when William Thompkins recorded the 1860 Census for Pine Valley where Neillsville was listed as the closest post office.  At one time the Clarks owned vast tracks of pine, but did not hold it long enough to realize the princely fortunes which others secured later.

Nahum was born in Medway to Theophilus and Experience Clark on January 22, 1749-50.  Mary Stearns married Nahum Clark of Holliston in Milford on July 9, 1772.

Mary Clark formerly Stearns was born before 20 Oct 1754 in Milford, Worcester, Massachusetts Bay Province.  Her parents were Jonathan E Stearns and Beulah (Chadwick) Battle.  Mary was the sister of Beulah (Stearns) Ashley, Lydia (Stearns) Marshall, John Stearns and Jonathan Stearns.

Betsey Green (1792-1840) was the oldest child of Moses Green (1772-?) and Jerusha Wiswall (1769-?) who were married 24 Jun 1792.  Betsey's eight younger siblings were: Dascam (1794); Benoni (1797-1856); Wiswall Huss (1800); Fisher Greene (1801); William (1803); Sarah Greene (1805-1888); Cyrus (1807); and Irene (1812-1908).

In her twenty first year, Betsey married Theophilus Clark (16 Feb 1781-27 May 1870) in Holliston, Middlesex, MA, 2 May 1813.  She became the mother of Noah Wiswall (5 Oct 1814), Mary Stearns (13 Jan 1817), Moses Green (7 Jan 1820), Sarah "Sallie" Irene (28 Mar 1922), Betsey G. (3 Nov 1826) Theophilus Albert Jr. AKA Albert Webster "A. W" (22 Jun 1830).

Her early death took place 1st of August, 1840.
