Courier (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.) 04/11/1918 Schultze, Martha
(Marriage - 3 Apr 1918) The marriage of
two prominent young people was solemnized Wednesday afternoon,
April 3, 1918, at the home of the bride. The contracting parties
were Wm. H. Krause Jr. and Martha Schultze. The ceremony was
performed by the pastor, Rev. H. H. Laabs, and was witnessed by
nearly seventy-five relatives and friends. The bride looked lovely
in white silk crepe and carried a shower bouquet of bridal
roses. The bride was
attended by Elsa Krause and Eleanore Beller, who carried an arm
bouquet of carnations. The best men were John Barth and Max
Schultze. The color scheme
appropriate for the event was tastefully carried out in yellow and
white narcissi, sweet pears and crepe paper being use. After the ceremony
and congratulations the company was served to a sumptuous wedding
dinner. Mr. and Mrs. Krause are young people well and favorably
known. After a short wedding trip to the Twin Cities they will make
their home at the Fairview Stock farm south of the village (Thorp,
Clark County, Wis.) © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
