Courier (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.) 02/06/1919 Stracker, Alma
(Marriage - 30 Jan 1919) Miss Alma
Stracker, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Stracker, and Mr. Hugo
Holzhausen went to Stanley on Thursday afternoon last provided with
a marriage license, called on Rev. G. C. Wadding, pastor of the M.
E. Church and were united in marriage. Upon their return the matter
was not mentioned at heir homes but was announced the next morning
when the even was supposed to take place. The occurrence, however,
was duly celebrated by relatives of the contracting parties present
before the arrival of train No. 1, when they departed for Glendive,
Mont., where they will pay the groom's sister, Mrs. C. F. Rainey, a
visit and then leave for Modesto, Cal., to visit Mrs. Wm.
Balsdeschwiler, sister of the bride. Hearty congratulations. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
