MARY SLOWATYNIEC

Mary [Dudra] Slowatyniec, 85, 313 W. 3rd Street, Withee, formerly of Neenah, passed away Thursday October 10, 2002 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield following complications from surgery.

She was born May 13, 1917 in Ironwood, Michigan, daughter of Louis and Mary [Semo] Dudra. Mary married Mike Slowatyniec and he preceded her in death February 22, 1952. She was employed at Theda Clark Medical Center, Neenah for 18 years prior to her retirement June 13, 1982.

Mrs. Slowatyniec is survived by three sons: Theodore {Joyce} Slowatyniec, Neenah, Malin Slowatyniec, Thorp, Nick {Carol} Slowatyniec, Buffalo City; 13 grandchildren; three brothers: Joe Dudra, Bernard and Tony Novobielski; two sisters: Jack {Rose} Rosenberger and Richard {Josephine} Cox. She was also preceded in death by a daughter Carol Ann Reuth August 31, 1983; a son Thomas Slowatyniec February 23, 2001; 5 brothers: Louie, Steve, John and Mike Dudra and Andy Novobielski; a sister Ann Kiwatek.

Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m. Monday October 14, 2002, at the Kessler Funeral Home, Neenah with Rev. David J. Koch officiating. Interment was in St. Margaret Cemetery, Neenah. Friends called at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. Monday until the time of services.
