Courier (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.) 03/18/1920 Brown, Helen M. (3
OCT 1854 - 10 Mar 1920) Helen M. Judd
Brown was born at Woodstock, Ill., Oct. 3, 1854, and was married to
George M. Yates, Feb. 25, 1874. To this union were born three
children. She was again married to Bernard J. Brown, March 14, 1915
and died March 10, 1920. For about three years she had been in
failing health due to heart trouble and for the past six months had
been a great sufferer so that death was a relief. She was a member
of the Maccabee Lodge, Women's Relief Corps and also of the Rebecca
Lodge. She was a faithful member till failing health prevented her
doing her duty as she saw it. By her friendly and cheerful ways she
won many friends who will greatly miss her. She leaves to mourn her
loss, a husband, and aged father, W. J. Judd of Stanley, and three
children, Mrs. G. C. Noteman of Cleveland, Ohio, George W. Gates of
East Chicago, Ind., and Harry E. Gates of Lakewood, Ohio. Funeral
services were held at the home Friday afternoon at two o'clock,
Rev. G. C. Wadding officiating. She was laid to rest in the Thorp
Village Cemetery. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
