Fischer, who died Monday, March 7, 1921, at 1:30 a.m., daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Michael Peters, was one of a family of ten children.
She was born June 23, 1866 at West Bend, town of Trenton,
Washington Co., Wis. On Jan. 27, 1891 she was married to F. W.
Fischer of the town of Lyndon, Sheboygan Co. She was the mother of
six children, Mrs. Frank Schmidt, deceased, Mrs. John VanHulst of
Kaukauna, Leo, Anton, Charles and Janette of Thorp, and three
grandchildren. Formerly they lived at Sheboygan Falls and Plymouth,
and later moved to Thorp, Clark County, about a month ago. She is
survived by her husband, five children, three sisters, Mrs. Charles
Speath and Mary of West Bend and Mrs. Mathew Juestinger of
Sheboygan Falls, and six brothers, Michael, Frank and Henry of West
Bend, John and George of Sheboygan Falls and Steve of Plymouth. The
funeral services were held Thursday, March 10th at 10 a.m., from
St. Bernard's Church at Thorp, Father Neises, assisted by Fathers
O'Connor and Rosenthal of Stanley as Deacons, officiating, and was
buried in St. Bernard's Cemetery. Those from out of town attending
the funeral were: Mike and Frank Peters, and Mrs. Charles Speath of
West Bend, George and John Peters and Andrew Juestinger of
Sheboygan Falls, Steve Peters, Mrs. John Buelke, Mrs. R. J. Pfrang,
Mrs. Oscar Meyer and Joseph Pfrang of Plymouth, Wm. Fischer of
Antigo, Mrs. Henry A. Fischer and W. F. Pfrang of Fond du Lac, John
Bauer of Marshifle, Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Fischer of Unity, Mrs.
Charles Block of Minneapolis, Fred Lange of Eau Claire, Ray Lange,
Gus Lange, Norman Roe and Ed Roe of Stanley. Pallbearers were: Fred
Bock, John Schmidt, August Walsdorf, Mathew Kass, Mathew Greisch
