Courier (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.) 10/23/1919 Osowski, Rose
(Marriage - 15 OCT 1919) A very pretty
wedding of much interest to people here was solemnized at St.
Hedwig's Church Wednesday, Oct. 15, 1919 at nine-thirty, when Rose,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Osowski, was united in marriage to
Anton Balicki of Chicago, Father Korczyk officiating. The bride wore a
beautiful gown of georgette crepe and wreath and veil. Two little
girls, Helen Balicki and Anna Osowski, were flower girls and
carried the bridal bouquet of white roses. The bride and groom were
attended by Vina Balicki, being maid of honor, and Pete Osowski,
best man. The others were Mary Osowski, Bill Balicki, Julia Timlin,
Louie Osowski, Tillie Hurls, Kasimere Osowski, Anna Baleer, Joe
Haraburda, Clara Hodarowski and Tom Nowiski. A bountiful breakfast,
dinner and supper was served to the assembled guests and a fine
celebration of the event was held. The bride is a most winsome and
pleasing young lady, for she combines all the qualities, which go
to make up a successful helpmate. The groom is one of the
progressive and industrious young men of good sterling qualities
and holds a very fine position at Chicago, where the young couple
will make their home. They leave for their new home with the best
wishes of their many friends, who wish them a very happy and
prosperous life together. Those from out of town who attended the
wedding were: Mrs. T. Kotecki of Milwaukee, sister of the bride,
Vina Balicki of Chicago, sister of the groom, and Frank Osowski,
brother of the bride, from Flint, Mich. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
