Courier (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.) 11/03/1898 Murphey, Ella M.
(Marriage - 26 OCT 1898) James Boylan
arrived here on Thursday evening last, accompanied by his bride,
having been united in marriage with Miss Ella M. Murphey at
Westfield the day previous. Miss Murphey is a sister of Thomas
Murphey of the town of Withee, Clark County, Wis. and not an entire
stranger here, having taught school in this vicinity several years
ago, and is highly esteemed by all her acquaintances. Everybody
knows "Jim", he having resided here for a number of years and all
are glad to learn that he has at last considered the matter of
living a bachelor's life as entirely foreign to his nature. Upon
their arrival here on Thursday evening a number of relatives and
friends gathered at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Burke, where
they were guests, to congratulate them and partake of a bounteous
supper prepared for the occasion. Mr. Boylan owns a large farm east
of town, but we understand will make this village his home for the
present. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
