Douglas E. Dusick 1953-2002

Douglas Edward Dusick, 49, Auburn, Wash., passed away at his residence on Nov. 24.

Doug was born in Chippewa falls on Nov. 2, 1953, the son of Frank and Adeline (Licht) Dusick. He grew up in the town of Delmar and attended area schools, graduated from Stanley-Boyd High School in 1971. He then attended Eau Claire Technical College, and after graduation, worked at Phoenix Steel. After a time he decided to return to school and continue his education, receiving his C.P.A. degree. He then worked in Wausau and Green Bay.

Doug then decided to move to Seattle, Wash., where he worked for the Boeing Company. He then later worked at the Green River Community College in Auburn, Wash., as an accountant.

Doug loved the upper Northwest area and enjoyed the Puget Sound area.

Doug is survived by his mother, Adeline, of Eau Claire; two brothers, Marlyn (Lois) Phoenix, Ariz., and Frank (Bonnie) of Eau Claire; two sisters, Dianne Ellis of Eau Claire and Darlene (Donald) Bushendorf of Altoona; and many nieces and nephews.

Doug is preceded in death by his father, Frank, in 1991; and one brother, William.

Funeral services are today at 11 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church. Father Robert Nelson officiating.

Visitations is also today at the church, beginning at 9:30 a.m. and ending at the time of the service.

Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Boyd.
