Bunkelman, 88, Tomahawk, formerly of the Colby/Abbotsford area,
died on Saturday, May 3, 2003, at Willow Creek Elder Care,
Tomahawk. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m., on Wednesday, May
7, at the Maurina Funeral Home, Abbotsford. The Rev. Carl Swarr
officiated. Burial was in the Milan Public Cemetery. Pallbearers
were Mark von Schrader, Mike von Schrader, Lloyd Bunkelman, James
Bunkelman, Larry Hoffman and Wayne Larocque. Marcella M. Dawson
was born on May 23, 1914, to Sidney and Flora (nee Coon) Dawson.
She married Elmer Bunkelman on May 6, 1930. They farmed in Milan
and she was a homemaker. She resided in Abbotsford and later moved
to Midget City Apartments, Colby. She lived in Tomahawk for the
last five months. Survivors include
two children, Vera (Francis) von Schrader, Tomahawk, and Lyle
Bunkelman, Colby; eight grandchildren, Julie (Chris) Winger, Joe
(Dawn) von Schrader, Mark (Mindy) von Schrader, Mike von Schrader,
John von Schrader, Roger Bunkelman, Richard Bunkelman and Larry
Bunkelman; 19
great-grandchildren; five sisters, Marian Hoffman, Athens, Arlene
Stahnke, Goodrich, Shirley Rose, Unity, Winifred Klimpke, Spencer,
and Darlene Jones, River Falls; three brothers, Martin Dawson,
Milwaukee, Elmer Dawson, Marathon, and Lawrence "Bill" Dawson,
Milwaukee; and many nieces and nephews. Preceding her in
death were her parents; her husband, Elmer, on July 8, 1967; one
sister, Lillian Frahm; and two brothers, Thomas Dawson and Raymond
