Regina R. Prewitt, 81 of Neillsville, Clark County, Wis. died on
Thursday morning, May 8, 2003 at the Memorial Nusing Home in
Neillsville where she had resided since 1996. There will be no
funeral services. Rembs/Kundinger
Chapel of Marshfield assisted the family with the arrangements. Regina was born
Nov. 4, 1921, in Bayonne, N.J., to Joseph and Victoria (Polny)
Krauzlis. She served in the United States Army as a registered
nurse during World War II, from Sept. 8, 1943, to Nov. 21, 1945.
After her honorable discharge, she worked at various hospitals and
nursing facilities in New Jersey and Wisconsin. Survivors include
seven children, Mary A. Prewitt of Alexandria, Va., Frances
Jacquemin of Keyser, W.Va., Margaret (David) Prewitt-McGee of
Keyser, W.Va., Joseph Prewitt of Chippewa Falls, Susan (Toby)
Chavarria-Krohn of Granton, Gregory (Laura) Prewitt of Granton and
Victoria Prewitt of Ishpeming, Mich. She is further survived by ten
grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and one brother, Victor
