H.D. Eyerly and Chas. M Breed are erecting on Third street a two story building, 24X60 feet, the second story of which is to be fitted up and occupied by the two lodges of Odd Fellows in this place.
The verandah in front of the Hubbard House was torn down one day this week. The street looks now as if some old land mark had been taken away.
PERSONAL-J.S. Carr, Esq., a former and well known citizen of this place, now prosperous in his profession at Chippewa Falls, spent two or three days in town last week, and made us a very pleasant call.
Fred Lee has returned from New York, and the new brick store is now being stocked with his purchases.
