We have lately seen some photograph work of J.B. Gallaher, Black River Falls, which we think is hard to excel by any one. The new styles of photographs-the Berlin finish-certainly is a great improvement on the old style pictures. Mr. G. is constantly adding all the new and valuable improvements to his gallery, and is now prepared to take any style of picture as good as can be obtained elsewhere-even in large cities. His prices are low, as you can get a basket full of pictures for one dollar. Be sure and call on him when you go to the Falls, and examine his specimens.
Mr. J. H. Marshall has put up a neat sign on the front of his hard ware store. It was painted by Mr. Rice, and does credit to the workman.
We learn that the team of Mr. James Christy ran away last evening, about a mile above this place, smashing up his wagon and slightly injuring one or two persons.
