Philpott, Tom B. (2 Feb 1863 - 22 Augl 1905)
Died, at his home in the town of Loyal, Clark County, Wis., Tuesday morning, Aug. 22, 1905, dropsy being the cause of his death.
Deceased was born at Hustisford, Dodge Co., Wis. on the 2nd day of Feb. 1863 and is the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Philpott of this city.
In 1874 he moved with his parents to Loyal and a few years ago moved on the farm where he has since lived.
Neighbors and friends did all that could be done for his recovery, but of no avail and at last passed away into the great beyond.
He leaves to mourn his death his beloved wife, three children, two sons, Ralph and Lacy, and one daughter, Alpha, his parents and a brother, Rev. Wm. M. Philpott of Bayfield, Wis., and other relatives besides a host of friends.
The funeral was held from the M. E. Church in this city yesterday at 2:30 p.m., Rev. J. A. Hill officiating. Burial was held at the village cemetery under the auspices of the Loyal Camp, No. 1414, M.W.A., of which he was a member.
The relatives have the sympathy of all acquaintances.
