Walls, Mrs. Lawrence (8 Feb 1839 - 26 May 1907)
Mrs. Lawrence Walls, a resident of the town of Loyal, Clark County, Wis. for the past twenty-six years, died on Sunday May 26, 1907, in the afternoon at two o'clock of pneumonia and heart failure at the age of 68 years.
The deceased was born on Feb. 8, 1839, in London, England, and married Larence Walls about forty-six years ago. They settled on the farm, where she resided when she passed away, twenty-six years.
After a long, busy and useful life, she died as she had lived, honored, respected, trusted and loved by all with which she came in contact. Her work was completed, if work all done and well done constitutes completion. None ever entered her home without a warm welcome, feeling the warmth of a genuine hospitality so characteristic of the people of her ancestry.
She leaves a husband and eight children to mourn her loss, two sons, George and William of the town of Loyal, six daughters, Mrs. Thomas, McKenzie, Mrs. James McKenzie, Mrs. A. E. Turner, of the town of Loyal, Mrs. Phillip Jones of Westboro, Mrs. Arthur Allen of Spokane, Wash, and Mrs. Louis Churchill of Tacoma, Wash.
