Cliver, Diane Mary (9 July 1983)

Mr. and Mrs. Terry Cliver of Colby gave their daughter, Diane Mary, in marriage July 9 to Russell James Hamus, Colby, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jerold Hamus, Unity.

The Very Rev. Raymond J. Pedretti officiated at the ceremony at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Colby. Ann Schmidt provided nuptial music.

A white Victorian gown with harmonizing veil was selected by the bride. In her bouquet was a yellow rose surrounded by pink, lavender and yellow tea-roses and baby's breath.

Her attendants were Miss Chris Cliver of Unity, maid of honor, and Miss Debby Martin of Marshfield, Miss Julie Cliver, Colby, and Miss Cheryl Dyer, Madison, bridesmaids. They had print formals in purple and lavender or pink and wine. In their bouquets were pink and lavender roses with bay's breath and ivy, and each had a rose in her hair.

Jamie Hein and Steven Cliver were miniature bride and bridegroom respectively.

Best man was Roger Hamus of Spencer. Groomsmen were Tom Elpert of Unity, Lyle Hainzlsperger of Colby and Kevin Cliver, Unity, and ushering were Robby Cliver and Allen Frost.

The reception, dinner and dance were at The Sword in Colby. Following a wedding trip to the Black Hills of South Dakota, The Hamuses will live in Colby.

Both graduated from Colby High School, the bride in 1982 and her husband, a farmer, in 1981.
