Wayne William LaGasse, age 88, passed away peacefully at Oakwood Hills Parkway in Eau Claire, WI., on January 7, 2022 surrounded by family and friends.
Wayne was born on November 10, 1933, in Thorp, WI. He was the son of John and Norma (Shock) LaGasse. On July 8, 1955 he married Susan Dorothy Crittenden at Grace Lutheran Church in Eau Claire, WI. He was a salesman and a manufacturing representative for sporting equipment companies. He served in the Air Force for four years during the Korean War. He was a Mason.
Wayne devoted his life to his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He enjoyed fishing,
traveling, golfing, playing bingo, going to the o, and watching sports on TV. He loved siting with family and friends and relaxing with a cigar and a cocktail.
Wayne is survived by his two children: Kathy (husband Gary Kiekhoefer) of Eau Claire and Michael (wife Katie) LaGasse of Baraboo; his grandchildren: Sara (husband Brandon Biddle) and Ryan (wife Brittany) Kiekhoefer; and his five great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife Sue; parents Norma and John LaGasse; and his brothers: John (Jack) and Keith.
Celebration, of life and Inurnment will take, place at Forest Hill Cemetery in Eau Claire at a later date,
