Luchterhand, Ella (Marriage - 14 Mar 1907)
On Thursday, March 14, 1907, at the M. E. Church in this village at 10:30 o'clock occurred the marriage of Mr. George Smith to Miss Ella Luchterhand.
The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Luchterhand of the town of Loyal, Clark County, Wis. She is a young lady of many graces of mind and person, who is capable of filling the home she will adorn with happiness and will prove to be truly a helpmate and companion to the husband she has chosen to honor with her hand.
The groom is almost a stranger to us, but judging from what the bride is worthy of, he is a good and noble man.
Immediately after the ceremony the young couple left for the home of the bride's parents in the town of Loyal, where a delicious dinner was served to relatives and the bride's many friends. Saturday morning they will leave for their home near Allentown, Ohio, where the groom is one of the prosperous farmers.
