TRIBUNE (Loyal, Clark County, Wis.) 04/04/1907 Kadolph, Marie H.
(Marriage - 4 Apr 1907) This afternoon at
two o'clock at the Lutheran Church in this village (Loyal, Clark
County, Wis.) occurred the marriage of Mr. Otto Scherger of
Hartford to Miss Marie H. Kadolph of the town of Loyal, Rev. Wm.
Lange officiating. When the wedding
march was commenced the church was nearly filled with friends of
the young couple, both from this village and country, and when the
bride and groom came down the aisle, followed by the attendants,
Elsie Kadolph and Lena Scherger for the bride and Paul Kadolph and
John Plank for the groom, the scene was one of great beauty. The bride was
becomingly attired in white silk and with the bridal roses looked
the very queen that her life characterized her to be. The groom
wore the conventional black. At the conclusion
of the ceremony the bridal party and invited guests went to the
home of the bride's parents, where a reception was given. The house
was decorated with pink and white carnations. The bride is a
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Kadolph of the town of Loyal and is
an estimable young lady and has made many friends in this
vicinity. The groom is a
popular young man of Hartford, where the young couple will in the
future reside. They will leave on Monday morning. The
congratulations on the happy event are numerous and this paper is
greatly pleased on this occasion to add its hearty good wishes to
those being so freely exchanged. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
