SCHILLING SHILLING ----Source: LOYAL
TRIBUNE (Loyal, Clark County, Wis.) 09/05/1907 Schilling, Hattie
(Marriage - 4 Sep 1907) The Lutheran
Church in this village (Loyal, Clark County, Wis.) was handsomely
decorated with potted plants and flowers in honor of the wedding
which took place at two o'clock yesterday afternoon. The
contracting parties were Mr. Max Voss and Miss Hattie Schilling,
both of them from prominent families in this vicinity, and the
wedding was performed by Rev. Wm. Lange. When Miss Maggie
Lenling at the organ commenced the music for the wedding march the
church was nearly filled with friends of the young couple, both
from this village and vicinity. The bride was
gowned in white silk and wore white roses and the attendants wore
carnations. The groom wore the conventional black. At the conclusion
of the ceremony the bridal party and the invited guests went to the
home of the bride's parents, where a reception was given. The
dining room was decorated in white and green and the parlor in
lemon and white. The presents received by the newly married couple
were numerous and handsome, as well as valuable. The bride is a
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Shilling of the town of Loyal, and is
well and favorably known here. The groom is the son of Mrs. L. Voss
of this village, has a wide acquaintance here and is admired for
his good qualities. The happy young couple will make their home in
this village. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
