TRIBUNE (Loyal, Clark County, Wis.) 09/19/1907 Cook, Viola
(Marriage - 16 Sep 1907) One of the
prettiest weddings of the season occurred at the home of Mr. and
Mrs. H. b. Cook, when their daughter Viola was joined in matrimony
to Mr. Grove Mack, Rev. C. Towne pronouncing the sacred words. At an early hour
Monday evening the bridal party took their place under the floral
bell suspended from an arch of green and white, where the
impressive ceremony occurred. The bride, who was
daintily attired in a dress of white silk, was attended by Lulu
Welsh, and the groom, dressed in the conventional black, by his
brother Walter. The house was
beautifully decorated with bright autumn foliage, ivy bunches of
feathery green. Owing to the
recent bereavement in the family of the groom, only the relatives
were present. The young couple
has both been long and favorably known in Loyal, Clark County, Wis.
and were classmates in school. The bride is quiet
and ladylike and those who know her know a young lady of the finest
character. The groom is considered one of Loyal's best young
men. Their many friends
have only the best of wishes for their wedded life and are pleased
to learn that they will not leave this place, but make their future
home on a farm one mile south of the village. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
