Goethe, Frona (FEB 1901 - 17 NOV 1908)

Frona Goethe is dead. The words flew over our village (Loyal, Clark County, Wis.) on the wings of wind on last Tuesday afternoon. Wherever it touched, it left sorrow and the expressions of sympathy for the bereaved ones were many and from the heart. After a long illness of typhoid fever and bronchial pneumonia she passed away at fifteen minutes to three on Tuesday afternoon at the age of seven years, but would have been eight if she had lived until next February. Death is a hard master. He would take from us our brightest and best, but he cannot even Mar memory. It will serve as a balm to the wounded hearts.

The funeral services will be held on Friday morning at nine o'clock at the Catholic Church and the remains laid to rest in the Silent City.
