TRIBUNE (Loyal, Clark County, Wis.) 02/04/1909 Miles, Edmond
(1880? - 31 Jan 1909) On last Saturday
evening at five o'clock Wm. Miles of this village received word
from Park Falls that his son, Edmond Miles, was dangerously ill and
on Sunday morning received a dispatch that he died at three o'clock
that morning of hemorrhage of the brain. His remains arrived here
on Monday evening and laid to rest with Modern Woodmen honors on
Tuesday morning at ten o'clock in the M. E. Cemetery. The funeral
services were held at the M. E. Church, Rev. Towne officiating. The deceased was
twenty-eight years of age and was the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs.
William Miles of this village (Loyal, Clark County, Wis.), and was
born on the Miles farm three miles east of here. He left here two
years ago and was married to Miss Emma Dresdow near Maplehurst
about a year ago. He was well known
in this vicinity, having spent his boyhood days near here and his
many friends were pained and shocked to hear of his sudden
death. To the
broken-hearted wife, father, sisters and brothers we extend our
heartfelt sympathy in their bereavement. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
