Humbird Items Our townsman, H. W. Colfix, while unharnessing a span of mules which he drives, received from one of them a very severe kick, which almost severed the nose from his face. The wound was attended to and dressed by Dr. Burt, of this village, in a scientific manner, and at present Mr. Colfix is doing as well as could be expected, although suffering considerable pain. "You should reason wid de maule, sah," did not have the desired effect in this case.
