Rose, Racie (Marriage - 20 Feb 1909)
On Saturday last at four o'clock in the afternoon at the home of her sister in Lomira, Wis. occurred the marriage of Miss Racie Rose to Mr. Paul Schoengrund.
As the beautiful strains of the wedding march, rendered by the bride's nephew, J. R. Sliner, floated through the room, the bridal party took their places and rev. Wier united the two hearts for the remainder of life's journey.
The bride is a daughter of Mrs. A. Rose of the town of Beaver, Clark County, Wis. and has many friends in this vicinity who wish her much happiness. The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. William Schoengrund of the town of Beaver, and is too well known to need an introduction to our readers, suffice to say that he can count his friends by the score.
An elegant supper was served to about eighty guests to which all did justice, after which a splendid program was rendered. A large number of presents were received by the young couple, which manifested the esteem in which they were held.
They left Tuesday for a wedding trip of a week and then will return and occupy the farm of Robert Rose in the town of Beaver. We rejoice that they remain among us.
