Matt Anderson, a resident of Coon Prairie, engaged as a chopper in a lumbering camp on the upper river operated by Huntzicker & Dewhurst, was fatally injured by a falling tree last Friday. As soon as the injuries were received, he was placed in a conveyance with the intention of taking him to Greenwood for medical attendance, but died before reaching that place. He leaves a wife and one child. His remains were sent to his friends.
