Greenwood Correspondence

Quite a number of our town boys have returned from their Dakota farms to put in another winter in the woods. They all seem to be well satisfied with that country. Mr. and Mrs. B. F. Brown also arrived here last week, after putting in the summer on their large farm there, and received a cordial welcome home from their many friends. It is their intention to return in the spring.

D. E. Bailey, who has been attending college at La Crosse, arrived home last Saturday evening, intending to resume his old position with A. S. Eaton in a few days.

Mrs. W. J. Armstrong is slowly recovering from her severe illness.

Tommy Begley has taken the position of clerk in the Begley House, and those who put up at that stand will find him ready to cater to their wants with the grace of a schoolmam.

W. E. Cornick is fast recovering from his attack of rheumatism. We can not liken his step to that of a startled fawn yet, but hope he will be all O.K. in a short time.
