Greenwood Correspondence

Ed. Carpenter came down from his camp in town 30 to-day and reports business good up there, and says he is going to put in logs anyway.

Mr. Smith the aged father of Mrs. W. H. Mead and Mrs. John McCarty of Longwood, was buried here yesterday. One by one they pass away.

Our new school house will soon be ready for use, teams having gone after the new seats to-day.

C. W. Carpenter made his appearance on our streets to-day for the first time in many weeks, having been on the sick list for a long time.
