Windel, George Jr. (11 Apr 1892 - 28 OCT 1909)
Died, on last Thursday afternoon at five o'clock, George Windel, Jr., of the town of Loyal, Clark County, Wis., of pneumonia at the age of seventeen years.
Deceased was a son of Mr. and Mrs. George Windel and was born in the city of Jefferson, Wis. on the eleventh day of April 1892, and came to Clark County, Wis. with his parents on Oct. 6, 1892, where he lived until he died. He recovered from an attack of pneumonia last winter, but contracted the disease again this fall, which caused his death.
Only the memory of the boy is left, yet how uplifting its influence. For after all, death is but the slipping off of the outer body. He was beloved by all his schoolmates and friends.
The funeral services were held at the Catholic Church on Saturday forenoon at half past nine and the remains interred in the Catholic Cemetery.
