Schultz, Edward (1866? - 21 NOV 1910)

Monday morning, Nov. 21, 1910, death ended the suffering, which was long and intense of Edward Schultz at Veefkind, Clark County, Wis., at the age of forty-four years. He was in the prime of life and today we wish to extend our heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved wife and family.

For the past twenty years Mr. Schultz lived at Veefkind, where he and wife built up a comfortable home, which stands as a monument of their industry and hard work. He was a devoted husband and loving father, a kind neighbor and a good friend of all. Two years ago locomoter Ataxia seized him, from which disease he died.

He was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Veefkind, in which church the funeral services were held on Thanksgiving afternoon. A large crowd of friends gathered from near and far to pay the last sad rites to the one who they always found a kind friend.

As we stand today feeling the loss, we also feel that it is only another case of laying down the cross to take up the crown.

The funeral services were conducted by David Wilson, pastor of the Presbyterian Church.
