Stevens, Olive (Marriage - 4 May 1910)
At the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. Stevens, in the town of Sherman, Clark County, Wis., were united in holy matrimony Miss Olive Stevens and Mr. Elmer Knickle, May 4, 1910, at 8 o'clock in the evening.
It was a very pretty wedding. The bride is a very pretty girl and has many friends and the groom is a nice steady young man and owns and runs a cheese factory in this town.
The bride was attended by Miss Emma Dahl of York Center and the groom by his brother Ray Knickle. The wedding march was played by the groom's sister Miss Knickle. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Jacques of Marshfield and then refreshments were served. The bride was dressed in light blue and the groom in black. The house was decorated very prettily.
Those who attended the wedding were mostly relatives. Those from abroad were Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Chandler of Sheboygan Falls, Willis Chandler and wife and children of Plymouth, Mr. and Mrs. Straub of Unity and two daughters, Miss Ina Straub and Mrs. Reis, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Wendell of Spencer, Mr. and Mrs. George Rose and Mrs. W. D. rose and son Harold of Granton.
