PLEASANT RIDGE SCH00L
The old school was located on the Charles Pieper farm. This school was built before 1900.
During the 1916 - 1917 school year, a new school was finished a little less than one mile east of the old one. Miss Davis was the first teacher. In 1948 the school was consolidated with the Riplinger district. Mrs. Orville (Edith Castner) Wichman was the last teacher in than school. Ed Robloff, Chris Oestreich, and Sig. Johnson were the members of the school board.
In 1958 this Riplinger District was consolidated again. The children from the former Pleasant Ridge District went to the Loyal schools.
