Young, Marie (9 March 1908 – 3 December 1980)

Mrs. William (Marie) Young, 72, of Granton passed away in Neillsville Memorial Hospital on early Wednesday morning, December 3.

The deceased was born on March 9, 1908, in Shell Lake to Bert and Rosie (Miller) Schumacher. On April 12, 1928, she married William Young in Price ceremonies. The couple then made their home in Granton.

Surviving Mrs. Young, besides her husband, are two sons, Donald of Madison, Indiana, and James of Granton, one brother, Vernon Schumacher, Granton; one sister, Selma Krunki, Osseo; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by two daughters.

Funeral services were held on Friday afternoon, December 5, from the Gilbertson Funeral Home. The Rev. Horst Augustin officiated with burial made in the Windfall Cemetery.
