Charles Frederick of the town of Loyal, Clark County, Wis., died on Thursday morning, Jan. 13, 1911, at half past one, of a lingering disease.
The deceased was born Sept. 16, 1861, and came here from Upham, N.D. last spring and purchased forty acres two miles southeast of this village, upon which he made numerous improvements, one of them being a new house. He was a progressive farmer and well thought of by neighbors. He made many friends during his short stay among us.
The remains were taken to Upham, N.D., on Friday morning for burial.
