Meacham, Lyman R. (28 Dec 1831 - 16 Apr 1911)

Died, at the home of his son, J. D. Meacham, in the town of Unity, Clark County, Wis., Lyman Russell Meacham, aged 79 years, 3 months and 19 days. He was born in Mansfield, Cataragus Co., N.Y., Dec. 28, 1831, and came to Wisconsin with his parents when a young man. He was married to Hannah Dorn Dec. 29, 1856, and moved to Cadiz, Green Co., Wis., where they made their home until 1876. In that year he moved to Clark County and took a homestead, where he has resided continuously except for a few years, which he spent on a farm in Monroe Co., near Sparta, Wis. Eight children were born to them, six of which survive him.
