Rahm, Peter (24 JUN 1836 - 15 Jul 1911)
On Saturday evening at half past six on his farm in the town of Sherman, Clark County, Wis., Peter Rahm died of diabetes at the age of seventy-five years.
The deceased was born in Rheinpfalz in Bavaria, Germany, on June 24, 1836. He arrived in New York with his family on July 2, 1881, and went to Sheboygan Co., where he lived on a farm for one year and then came to Clark County, Wis., where he reised up to the time of his death.
He was a man of generous impulses and never forgot the hospitable ways of the pioneer. He has borne adversity bravely and enjoyed prosperity quietly. He had filled the various relations of life, as son, husband, father, brother, friend, and filled them well. Who can do more?
He left a widow and six children, three sons, Edward, Charles and August and three daughters, Mrs. Bertha Arndt, Mrs. Lena giloy and Mrs. Anna Bredleau, who all reside in the town of Sherman.
The funeral services were held on Tuesday at two o'clock in the afternoon at the Lutheran Church in the town of Sherman and the remains buried in the Lutheran Cemetery.
