Altman, Mrs. Otto (4 NOV 1866 - 11 Augl 1911)
Mrs. Otto Altman died on Friday morning, Aug. 11, 1911, at half past nine of dropsy.
The deceased was born in Germany on Nov. 4, 1866, and came to this country when she was twenty-two years of age and settled at Wittenberg, Wis., and two years later was married to Otto Altman. A year later they went to Minnesota Jct. And lived there for seven years. In 1899 they moved to the town of Loyal, Clark County, Wis., and purchased a farm now occupied by Anton Kreuser and resided there for two years, when they moved to this village.
She was a good mother and ran the journey of her life in forty-four years. It is a path marked with deeds of kindness and cheer.
She leaves a husband, five sons, Arthur, Edward, Albert, John and James, seven daughters, Alma, Mandy, Adelia, Ella, Anna, Leonlia, and Elsie, all of Loyal.
The funeral services were held at the M. E. Church on Sunday afternoon at two o'clock and the remains buried at the M. E. Cemetery.
