Judd, Nora (Marriage - 25 OCT 1911)
Miss Nora Judd, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B. Judd, town of York, Clark County, Wis., was united in marriage to Merle Benedict Wednesday evening at eight o'clock by Rev. Kildow at the home of the bride's parents.
The wedding party entered the parlor to the Lohengrin wedding march played by Miss Delia Butler, a cousin of the bride. The home was artistically decorated, an arch of green was formed in which the wedding party stood. The bride was attired in a gown of white silk mull and carried white flowers. She was attended by her sister, Miss Edna Judd, as bridesmaid, who wore a dress of tan silk and carried yellow flowers.
The groom was attended by his brother, Rollie Benedict.
Following the ceremony an elaborate wedding dinner was served, only relatives being present.
The bride and groom are both very well known and highly respected all through this vicinity. The bride has lived here eleven years, her former home being in the town of Rubicon. The groom, the son of S. W. Benedict, has always made his home here. They will reside on the farm of the groom in the town of York. We join the many friends of Mr. and Mrs. Benedict in wishing them a long and happy life. The relatives from out of town were Mrs. John Matteson and Miss Delia Butler of the town of Rubicon, cousins of the bride.
