Schoch, Augusta (23 JUN 1883 - 10 JUN 1912)

Mrs. Peter Schoch is dead. That sounds very strange to our ears as we repeat it over and over, and think. A short time ago she was young, fresh, and full of life; but now she is dead. She died Monday morning, June 10, 1912, at eleven o'clock with childbirth.

The deceased was born on the farm of her father, Carl Smith, twenty-nine years ago, where she resided up to the time she married Peter Schoch eight years ago this fall.

In the death of Mrs. Schoch this vicinity (Clark County, Wis.) fully and keenly realizes their loss. She was a true friend, and her devotion to those she loved would make a bright chapter in any life.

Besides a devoted husband she leaves a daughter, relatives and friends to mourn her loss.

The last services will be held at the M. E. Church on Friday afternoon at one o'clock, Rev. Kildow officiating, and the remains buried in the M. E. Cemetery.

A bit of additional information: Carl Smith was born Schmidt. His wife was a Brussow. Peter Schoch's mother was a Klein. His uncle Jacob was also married to another Brussow girl.
