Patno, John (10 MAY 1849 - 13 JUN 1913)
John Patno died at Rochester, Minn., on June 13, 1913, where he had underwent an operation for that dreaded disease, cancer.
Deceased was born May 10, 1849, at Janesville, Wis. When he was eight years old his parents moved to Richland Center. He lived there until 1898, when he, with his family, moved to Clark County, Wis. and settled on his farm south of Spokeville. On Dec. 22, 1869, he was united in marriage to Miss Mary Huston, to this union were born four children, Mrs. George Ives and Mrs. A.J. Spry of Granton, Charles of Los Angeles, Cal., and John of Red Cloud, Neb. On Jan. 23, 1886, he united with the Church of Christ at Richland Center and was always fond and faithful in his Master's service and died as he had lived, a kin, loving husband and father and good neighbor.
A wife and four children mourn his loss, besides brothers, sisters and many friends.
Funeral services were held at the home and he was laid to rest in the silent city at Loyal.
