(Arch, Podobnik, Bandoz, Mendlescn, Long, Hatton) Obituary of Mrs. Ernest Arch
Mrs. Ernest Arch, Route 2, Greenwood passed away Monday evening, August 5 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield where she had been a patient since July 25. She had been in failing health for the past two years.
Funeral services were held at the Hill Funeral Home Thursday at 9:00 A.M. Rev. William V. Nikolai officiated at the Requiem High Mass. Burial took place in the parish cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Frank Parkel Jr., Aage Neilsen, Howard Susa, Henry Lamovec Jr., Frank Lamovec and John Gatz.
Mrs. Arch, formerly Mildred L. Podobnik was born October 15, 1923 in the Town of Eaton. Her marriage to Ernest Arch took place October 26, 1946 in Holy Family Catholic Church. She was a member of the Parish Council of Catholic Women and the Slovenian National Benefit Society.
She is survived by her husband two daughters, Karyn and Nancy, Milwaukee and two sons, William and James at home. Other survivors include: the following brothers and sisters; Michael and August Podobnick, Greenwood; Emil Podobnick, Willrs; Mrs. Joseph (Eva) Bandoz, Joliet, Ill; Mrs. Arnold (Theresa) Mendlescn, Milwaukee; Mrs. Eugene (Gertrude) Long, Chicago and Mrs. Donald (Mary) Hatton, St. Paul Minn.
