Neeb-Cone Wedding
A very pretty wedding took place at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Will R. Cone at three o'clock on Wednesday afternoon, May 29th, when Miss Gladys Cone became the bride of Mr. Oscar Neeb, son of Mrs. Will H. Millard. The double ring ceremony was solemnized by the Rev. Ervin Pfeiffer, pastor of the Reformed Church Greenwood. They were attended by Mrs. Harold Seidelman, sister of the Groom and Mr. Harold Seidelman as bestman.
The bride wore an eggshell satin gown made ankle length, with cape sleeves and ruffled collar. She wore a string of pearls which were a family heirloom. The finger-tip veil which was graduated was caought in cap effect with a headband of organg glossoms. She carried a bouquet of yellow rose buds in her arms. The accessories were white. The bridesmaid was dressed in white organdy made with puffed sleeves. She wore crystals and carried a whower bouquet of lilacs.
The groom wore an oxford gry suit and had a yellow rose bud in his lapel. The best man was dressed in conventional blue, and wore a spray of lilac in his lapel.
The home was decorated with apple blossoms and lilacs. Four tables were set for the supper which was prepared by the bride's mother and Mrs. Clarence Dunn. A bouquet of tulips and ferns, and a lovely wedding cake which was made by the brid'es cousin Mrs. Ray Vogel, decorated the brides table. On the other tables bouquets of pansies were used.
The guests for the wedding were: Mr. and mrs. Will H. Millard, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Sedelmann and baby daughter, Mrs. Herbert Fritz, Waukesha, sister of the groom; Mr. and Mrs. Otto Neeb, Dover, Minnesota; Mrs. Rosa Bischoff and son Martin of Hustiford, Wisconsin; Mr. and Mrs. Emil Biscohoff, Horicon, Wisconsin; Mr. and Mrs. Ray Vogel and family, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Bogel, Mrs. Flora Draper, Mr. and Mrs. Vern A. Millard, all of Loyal, Wisconsin; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Sitts and son George, Spring Green, Wisconsin; Rev and Mrs. E. G. Pfeiffer, Greenwood, Wisconsin.
The table waiteress were Miss Dorthy Severson and Miss Lila Dunn.
The bride and groom entertained in the evening at an invited wedding dance held at the Idle Hour Dance Hall, Greenwood and a host of relatives and friends gathered for a most enjoyable evening.
Mr. and Mrs. Neeb left Thursday afternoon for a wedding trip to southern Minnesota to visit relatives and friends of the groom.
The bride was a popular teacher in Clark County schools for the past seven years.
