Once Again Its Christmas By: Elsie Abel
Once again it's Christmas, the time of year When gladness fills the atmosphere, We cast all differences aside And love within our heart's abide. Once again comes to this troubled earth The Blessings of our Saviour's birth. Once again we see the wondrous light Sine bright or Bethlehem tonight. Once again the Heavenly Hosts Proclaim Christ is born in Bethlehem.
Once again amidst the tinsel trim We hear the children carols sing May we like the Wise Men from afar Be led by faith and the Christmas Star To the humble stable and there take part And share the joy in Mary's heart. And with the Shepherds kneel to pray And worship Christ this Christmas Day Bring like the Wise Men did of old Our love as they brought gifts of Gold.
Once again its Christmas to you and yours Christ's love to expect which forever endures Once again the Herald Angels sing Glory to the new born King! Once again they touch their harps and then Sing Peace on Earth, Good will toward men Their carols ring out or'e friends or'e foes To our hearts bring joy, another year to a close. And so we step out of this world of night Into a new World, warm, aglow with light.
