The second in a series of centennial celebrations at Trinity Lutheran Church, Loyal, will be this week-end. There will be a Saturday and Sunday services, according to the pastor, the Rev. Joseph R. Kraly.

The Rev. Eugene Leschensky, Janesville, retired son of a former pastor, will preach the sermon at both services. Another former pastor, the Rev. William H. Humlie of Brodhead, will read the lessons and Pastor Kraly will be liturgist.

There will be special music by the Adult Choir Sunday under the leadership of Laura Dux with piano accompaniment by Jean Voss. Gary Gluch will be soloist at both services and Ron Gluch, the organist, both Saturday and Sunday. On Sunday Jim and Sue Olsen will sing a duet.

On Sunday there will be a special program, "Down Memory Lane," in the church. The public is invited to the afternoon program and morning service.

Participating besides Leschensky and Humlie will be the Rev. Floyd Olsen of Whitewater and the Rev. Frank Pieper of Ingleside, Illinois, both sons of the congregation, and a former pastor, the Rev. Virgil Ganz, now of San Antonio, Texas. Both will share memories and offer comments.

Also present will be Mrs. Cordelia Pfohl of Cedarburg, wife of a former pastor, the late Rev. John G. Pfohl and Mrs. Dorothy Aalto Gruetzmacher of Grafton. Her former husband/pastor, the Rev. Elmer Aalto, also is deceased.Included in this program will be music and introductions. Former parishioners also will be there.

The third and final section of the centennial observance is scheduled for September 25.
